Project Description Country: USA Location: Oak Forest Total Budget: $917 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: General Summary: BEDS Plus Match A Meal Program partners with local food businesses to help feed BEDS clients. Donate money to BEDS Plus, a nonprofit that helps homeless and semi homeless individuals and families in the Chicago Southwest Suburbs. Homelessness is an issues that isn't on the surface of the communities we serve, and this past year has hit families hard. Food scarcity impacts more families than we realize. By helping BEDS plus, we are not only helping local families in need we are also benefiting local businesses, by partnering with a local business to provide the meals.
