Summary: Beautify areas of our community, unite our community members of diverse background, and celebrate our rich Nebraska history through artwork done in Art Alleyway.


We are requesting this grant to fund the Art Alleyway project in our community. The funds will be used to purchase paint and supplies, as well as pay for a website and purchase scaffolding to facilitate the project. The goals of the project are:

Connecting our community through a free opportunity to work together to help captivate culture within our town. Connecting those of diverse and different backgrounds, one paintbrush at a time.

Beautifying areas in our community through businesses that have a vision that allows our volunteers to add color and light to our everyday life by connecting with one another to assist in enhancing the place we love, live & get to call home.

Uniting our community members of diverse backgrounds that would otherwise not have a chance to work together, have the chance or opportunity to connect and work on a like-minded project that benefits our community & advocates for uniting through differences.

Celebrating our rich Nebraska history through showcasing artwork that tactfully depicts educational art pieces that are interactive for community members and guests alike. Celebrating community through having the opportunity to work together for the greater good of our home.

We hope to complete as many murals as possible this year and continue adding to the Art Alleyway for years to come.
