Bikes For Kids (Partnership with local title 9 school) An annual project during the holidays between the La Mesa Rotary and a local school. Students in one classroom are asked to write an essay to win a bike, but in reality, the entire class if gifted a bike. On average bikes range $70-$100 each for a 30 student classroom. Bikes are assembled at a member's business, 15 volunteers including interact, club members and friends, then transported to the school for the assembly presentation.
