Project Description Country: USA Location: Chula Vista Total Budget: $1,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: This grant will be used to provide materials to several schools in financial need to continue with their projects and promote a family / school-oriented team work to accomplish their goals. The activity is a gathering between several local schools to show their math and physics abilities to develop a catapult to throw a pumpkin to a specific mark, the catapult is develop by students from different schools with the support of a teacher and there family; this brings the community together in promoting family values, school commitment and great fun and friendship between students and the community.
