Project Description Country: USA Location: Fort Worth Total Budget: $560 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: To provide dictionaries to 3rd grade students in the Fort Worth School District This dictionary project will distribute dictionaries to local 3rd graders in four minority elementary schools in Fort Worth. Dictionaries and Four Way Test bookmarks no later than the end of the spring semester 2021. The bookmarks will serve as a reminder of Rotary's ethical, charitable and humanitarian purpose. Our club members are involved to distribute the books but also help tutor kids during work look up demonstrations as COVID restrictions permit. It is also an opportunity to share our vocations with the kids, many of whom do not have father figures at home.
