Community Development: Construction/Renovation
Summary: Remodel bathroom to meet ADA standards for Community Entry Services residential home.
Community Entry Services (CES) is dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to maximize independence and lead satisfying productive lives in the community. CES owned residential sites provide 24 hour/day support and services to adults with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries in Teton County. One of their residences lacks an ADA accessible bathroom and a current resident is non-verbal and uses a wheelchair for mobility and needs assistance in most aspects of her life.
This grant will contribute funding toward the cost of rebuilding the bathroom to ADA standards. Labor will be provided by Teton Habitat and members of this club. Estimated material cost and contracted labor are $50,000. Labor from Habitat of Humanity is donated at no cost to CES.
