Project Description Country: USA Location: Costa Mesa Total Budget: $4,700 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: 360 backpacks provided to school children in low income families in Costa Mesa, California This is a community service project for school children from low-income families in our community. These new backpacks loaded with school supplies will alleviate some of the peer pressure experienced by these students. Too many students i our community are falling behind in school and life before they even get a chance. This will help them with their self-esteem, creativity and confidence.
