Project Description Country: USA Location: Craig Total Budget: $6,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Book Fair for Craig Middle School 6th graders Craig Rotary is looking to expand our literacy projects to the Middle School. We will be having a book fair at the school in September. The school is getting us a list of books to purchase that the students would enjoy. Craig Rotary members would decorate the auxiliary gymnasium, set up tables and be present during the day for students to peruse, pick books, and answer any general questions the students may have. We have been in contact with a team at Craig Middle School reviewing books to purchase for the book fair. There are 146 sixth graders. We have ordered 38 titles, 5 copies of each and are waiting to secure a date to have the book fair in November 2025. 22-Jan-26 by Randy Looper We have had our first 6th grade book fair in mid November 25. We purchased over 500 books and had each 6th grade class come into the library and pick a book they would like.
