Project Description Country: USA Location: Orange, CA Total Budget: $1,500 Areas of Focus: Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Community Development: Volunteer Services Summary: This event aims to equip students from Title 1 schools within Orange County, California with fully stocked backpacks, supporting a positive and prepared start to the 2025–2026 school year. RCVP plans to provide students with greatest needs identified by school guidance counselors from Title 1 schools within Tustin, Orange, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, and Orange Unified School Districts in California with fully stocked backpacks including pens, pencils, notebooks, markers, folders, lunch bags, erasers, and glue sticks. A total of $1500 will be used to purchase these supplies. The project will begin planning after approval from TRF and will be completed by August 15th, 2025. An estimated 45 RCVP members will participate in purchasing and packing the student backpacks and assisting with setup and distribution on event day.
