Project Description Country: Ukraine Location: Dnipro Total Budget: $7,000 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: To supply educational books, supplies and equipment to bombed schools to foster basic children's education. Many schools have been destroyed by Russian bombing and all educational supplies and equipment lost. The government is on a war footing and can only afford to pay teacher's salaries at this time. Makeshift classrooms have been set up in basements and this project will provide books, supplies and equipment so that primary (grades 1-4) education can be provided to the children in that area.
