Project Description Country: USA Location: Eastchester/Tuckahoe/Bron Total Budget: $3,600 Areas of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment, Maternal and child health Activity Type: Health: General Summary: Providing LifeVac an The Eastchester Rotary project goal is to provide to area Police departments, Fire departments, public & private school nurses and cafeteria's, and volunteer ambulance corps approximately 56 LifeVac portable, non-invasive airway clearance device used to help clear a person's airway during a choking emergency, particularly when standard maneuvers have failed. Project cost is anticipated to be $3600, and Eastchester Rotary Club members will deliver devises and instruct recipients on their use. Devices have a lifetime replacement policy if ever neede3 for lifesaving use.
