Summary: We provide needed hygiene products to 10 schools, domestic violence victims and hospice in Mountain Home, ID
Our project is an ongoing project that helps with basic needs of our community. We plan to continue our distribution of basic hygiene and essential products on an as needed basis by the various schools, hospice and to victims of domestic violence. With our funds from the grant and our own club funds and donations from club members as well we are able to provide the much-needed items. Providing basic hygiene items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, soaps, feminine hygiene products for children and adults alike will help with the self-esteem of the recipients of these products. We distribute items in the fall and spring to help keep the hygiene closets in the various schools stocked. We plan to provide needed items at the elementary schools to include sweatpants, leggings, underwear and socks for their hygiene closets. We want to continue to be able to supply these much-needed essential items to those in need.
