The program is designed to bring accessible art kits for enrichment to underserved youth at Higher Ground. Kits may include drawing materials, paints, brushes, mixed-media supplies, journals, collage elements and collaborative creative projects that foster both individual creativity and social connection.
The Art Kits for Kids supports cognitive development, emotional wellness, fine motor skills, and creative problemsolving while giving children the opportunity to experience the joy of making art regardless of financial barriers. The Art kits help children feel seen, empowered, and inspired to imagine new possibilities for themselves and their communities. Rotarians will purchase art supplies and assemble the kits in order to fill the art box located at Higher Ground. The funds will be used for art supplies and materials need to assemble.
