Project Description Country: USA Location: Orange County, Ca Total Budget: $9,000 Area of Focus: Community economic development Activity Type: Community Development: Volunteer Services Summary: Three projects involving Holiday Dinner for Veterans, Support for Unhoused, Pet Pantry for low-income pet owners 1. Patriots & Paws - RCVP will purchase, package and help distribute dinner packages for area Veterans and their families in November 2026 for a Thanksgiving meal. Funds will be used to purchase food items and packaging materials. 2. Project Phaino - RCVP will help support four (4) monthly meals for unhoused individuals and families in the local area. Members will purchase food, clothing and hygiene items, as well as preparing and serving meal and assisting with clothing distribution and hygiene appointments. 3. OC Animal Care - Pet Pantry - RCVP will assist with sorting, packaging and distributing food at a drive-through Pet Pantry. Funds will be used to purchase food, treats and bedding for low-income families who need assistance to feed their pets and avoid having to abandon them.
