Approximately 100 students, grades 1 thru 12, residing in at-risk neighborhoods, and whose families participants in LOT318, a non-profit program, whose primary goal is to keep the children in school, thereby opening new opportunities for them as opposed to be drawn into gang-related activities.
Having the appropriate tools and supplies to fully participate in the learning experience is fundamental to achieving success in school.
Club members will purchase the backpacks and school supplies, then "stuff" grade-appropriate supplies, then distribute to each student in August, prior to the start of the new school year
