Project Description Country: USA Location: Grand Island Total Budget: $1,150 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: Literacy Summary: Our Noon Rotary Club will provide materials and installation costs for our RYLA students to make a little free library for our community. We will sponsor a local team of RYLA students to make a Little Free Library to be placed at a location to be determined here in Grand Island. The grant will cover the costs of the kit and supplies to assemble and decorate it, as well as the cost to install it. A Little Free Library will cost about $400 (with shipping and decorating supplies included). We will use the remainder to properly install. Our sponsorship will include recognizing our club on the library itself. The local team will select and participate in the installation. Our club match will be used to purchase/donate books for the initial fill, as well as a supply to maintain the library going forward.
