San Diego Bird Alliance's mission is to restore San Diego's coastal wetlands to support wildlife, improve water quality and uplift community and cultural connections. They aim to restore key coastal sites, educate and engage the community for lasting stewardship.
One of SDBA's projects is ReWild Mission Bay -an effort to restore habitat to northeast corner of Mission Bay, a critical area for wildlife on the Pacific Flyway. SDBA is increasing the work on Rose Creek, the largest source of fresh water to Mission Bay and the main source of water and nutrients to the ReWild area. With $1000, SDBA would by plants and tools to support the monthly habitat restoration work with Friends of Rose Creek along the banks of Lower Rose Creek.
