Project Description Country: United State Location: North Platte, NE Total Budget: $1,813 Areas of Focus: Maternal and child health, Basic education and literacy Activity Type: Education: General Summary: Over 300 Josh the Otter, water safety books provided to local school kindergartners located in North Platte, NE. There will always be a need to help educated our youth of the importance of being cautious and safe around water. Our project promotes this important education by providing books to each kindergartner in North Platte as well as coming into the classroom and reading those books to the kids with the mascot. The funds requested will be used to purchase the books for the schools.
