Rotary Club: Eagle River Area Project Title: Emergency Meal Distribution 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? Eagle River Rotary came together at the Boys and Girls Club of Eagle River to assemble meal boxes for the community. These boxes were delivered to The Lunch Box in Anchorage, for distribution from the ACF Church in Eagle River. 2. How many people benefited from this project? 150 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? The beneficiaries were local families affected by COVID and who were in need of additional assistance with meals. 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 9 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. Everyone who came helped to assemble the boxes, a few of them did the shopping for the items to put in the boxes and then dropped them off at the Lunch Box. 6. If a cooperating organization was involved, what was its role? The Lunch Box, a local non-profit organization, distributed the finished boxes. 7. Income
