Rotary Club: La Jolla Golden Triangle Project Title: Technology At Your Fingertips 1. Describe the project. What was done, when and where did project activities take place? A computer lab with 40 computers and 1 printer was installed at a junior high school in Tijuana, Escuela Secundaria Tecnica 15. The inauguration took place on May 14, 2022. 2. How many people benefited from this project? 1,500 students per year will benefit from this one lab. 3. Who were the beneficiaries, how were they impacted by this project, and what humanitarian need was met? 4. How many Rotarians participated in the project? 13 Rotarians from Club Rotario Tijuana Agua Caliente and 2 Rotarians from La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club participated. 5. What did they do? Please give at least two examples, not including financial support provided to the project. The Rotarians from Club Rotario Tijuana Agua Caliente inspected the classroom to ensure it met their standards, coordinated with the teachers and directors of the school, painted the classroom, oversaw the installation of the computers and printers, and organized the inauguration. The Rotarians at La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club applied for the District Grant, communicated with the Tijuana Rotarians on a regular basis for updates, reported the updates to the International Committee, and attended the inauguration. 6.
