Project Description Region: Africa Country: Uganda Location: Mbarara Total Budget: $52,578 Area of Focus: Basic education and literacy St. Helen's is a Catholic founded boarding abroad Day primary school for girls plus the visually impaired children (boys and girls). The school was established in 1932 and the unit for the blind girls nd boys was started in 1967. The project The Dormitory as demolished by a heavy storm on 24 Feb 2016. Rwampara RC in partnership with an international partner would like to reconstruct the dormitory, make it bigger, put up ramps and rails, male is bigger and harvest the rain water.
