GRC funds in the amount of $1,050 (including the 5%, $50 fee) were also mailed in on that day. The separate bank account was set up on July 24, 2017 and that information uploaded into the grant form. 25-Jul-17 by conrad heede System Entry: Application Sent to The Rotary Foundation through Member Access. 25-Jul-17 by conrad heede System Entry: Application approved by The Rotary Foundation. 16-Oct-17 by conrad heede System Entry: Payment has been issued by The Rotary Foundation. 17-Oct-17 by conrad heede Yacine is presently in Geneva, Switzerland starting her studies for a Masters in Global Health at the U. of Geneva. 2-May-18 by conrad heede Yacine is completing her studies in Global Health at the U. of Geneva and has been selected as one of 7 students to be invited to participate in a Work/Study Field Trip to Latecia, Colombia to study the medical conditions of indigenous people who have been forced to live in urban areas. A Bluebonnet Society Grant has been approved to help fund this experience. 16-Dec-18 by conrad heede Yacine successfully completed her field trip to Colombia, as part of her studies at the U. of Geneva, and stopped by Texas on her way back to Geneva to give the Grapevine RC an update on her studies and the results of the field trip, in August 2018. She has returned to her studies in Geneva. 2-Jul-19 by conrad heede Yacine Ndiaye is completing her studies at the U. of Geneva. She completed a work/field study project in the Amazon, in Leticia, Columbia last August where she studied Eco-epidemiology in relation with diarrheal diseases among the indigenous communities there.
