Project Description Region: South America Country: Brazil Location: Brazil Total Budget: $45,000 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Ms. Paloma Wiethorn applied to and was accepted to the two-year Master's program in Peace & Justice Studies. She was selected by the Grillo-Marxuach Family to receive their prestigious scholarship of $45,000, made possible by a gift of $30,000 from the family with a $15,000 match from The Rotary Foundation. Paloma has already shown exceptional interest and ability in peacemaking and peacebuilding. She is currently involved in an NGO in San Diego.
