Project Description Region: North America Country: Puerto Rico Location: Puerto Rico Total Budget: $45,000 Area of Focus: Peacebuilding and conflict prevention Ms. Valentina Rivera Munoz applied to and was accepted to a two-year Master's program in Peace & Justice Studies at the University of San Diego. The Grillo-Marxuach Family selected Valentina to receive their prestigious $45,000 scholarship, made possible by their gift of $30,000 which was matched by The Rotary Foundation with $15,000. Valentina is accomplished academically, and has shown a strong interest in peacemaking and peacebuilding.
