The project consists of equipping a Food Transformation Center in Baja California, Mexico; to achieve the use generated in the community of the San Quintín Valley, where it will be transformed by extending the time of life, reducing waste, benefiting the population with little access to food.
It is planned to reach a maximum production capacity in the facilities of San Quintín in a period of 12 months from the purchase of the equipment. With this you will achieve:
- Avoid the waste of approximately 1,218 tons of food annually.
- Approximately 1 million processed and packaged products, ready for distribution to a register of beneficiaries with food needs.
- Increase the number of beneficiaries by 33.3%, reaching more than 40,000 people.
