This project is a continuation of a Global Grant Project based in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, that also provided clean water to rural schools in Kenya. In past travels to Kenya, we have noticed that rural schools tend to not be hooked up to a clean and reliable municipal water system, so the students and staff must drink and cook with the dirty water they have access to, often causing illness and dehydration. Some schools don't have a water source close by and students must leave class and walk, sometimes miles, to haul water daily. This causes students to lose valuable classroom time. We hope to continue to help with these issues

Project Status
Dropped
This project has been "Dropped". Check the history log entries to see why it was dropped.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
