The Rotary club verified the need to install more water pumps, at the time when the pumps were installed, acquired through an SG number 1744368, at the homes of the families located in the rural area of Lomas Norte.
The information on the benefit of owning a pump circulated quickly, due to the great impact and satisfaction that it caused on the beneficiaries, to be owners and the great expectation, of the inhabitants of the area, of also being able to benefit from the water
The direct observation of the impact allowed us to rethink in the club the need to install more pumps to satisfy the imperative need to access the water.
Visits to the homes of the families allow us to affirm that changes are observed in the behavior and life of the people.
The drilling to install the pumps will be done by the Municipality, collaborating organization, which will be done at a depth between 18 to 30 meters.
To install 70 pumps it will be required, piping PVC pipes; PPM pipes; mill rods; galvanized couplings for rod; full bronze cylinders.
The drilling will not be budgeted, because it is the responsibility of the Municipality's personnel, providing important collaboration, which allows us to acquire more pumps.
In addition to providing a solution to the problem of lack of water, it is also a concern of the club and the Municipality to attend to the sanitation, which will be carried out through training on the care and maintenance of the pump, hygiene of the same; and of the containers that are suitable for storing the water, which will not be budgeted either, by com ate with suitable personnel both in the club and in the Municipality.
