The target public of this project is children living in the city of Bandeirantes that go to the Community Center for Children's Education - Paulo Meneghel - (about 106 children from 0 to 5 years old) which is maintained by the AMAS - Methodist Association of Social Assistance, and belong to families in need with working mothers (about 180 members). These mothers also receive assistance from 'AMAS' from time to time, in specific projects. The Community Centre focus on the following themes: Movement, Music, Visual Arts, Oral and Written Language, Nature and Society, and Maths. This center is in need of pedagogical resources, for instance a 'toy library', besides equipment to improve the infrastructure as air-conditioning, kitchen apparatus, TV sets among others such as technological equipment, so that the children will have a healthier environment in which they can have experiences to allow them to develop logic, motor skills, and in this way built up their autonomy besides being able to enhance their potential. This project will also provide adequate conditions for the children's welfare, physical, emotional, intellectual, moral and social development, the enlarging of their experiences and foment their interest for knowledge on human nature and society through the upgrading and adjustment of the resources and equipment at the Community Center for Children's Education. The rotarian will be involved in all the steps before and during the porject. The Rotarians will also be cose to supervise the apropriate use of the donated items.
