Pulmonary Ventilator Neonatal
With the acquisition of four (4) pulmonary ventilators, the technological modernization of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit aims to: improve the care provided by preventing complications due to problems arising from prematurity, respiratory disorders, heart diseases, malformations Congenital and metabolic disorders, thus improving the quality of life of the newborn.
Direct beneficiaries will be newborns at high risk (as well as their parents) or who need special care with different clinical or surgical problems such as: prematurity, respiratory disorders, heart diseases, congenital malformations and metabolic disorders. Currently the Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Piracicaba has fourteen beds with an average stay of fourteen days. Therefore, an average of 360 premature children per year will be attended.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
