Nowadays neurodegenerative diseases ( dementia, Alzeheimer for ex) affect a large part of of our aging population and this trend is set to increase.

Research proposal

On the development of nanowire atomic switch networks for neuromorphic AI: key computarional model system parametrrs and memory control.

The projet is a collaboration between the University of Sydney (Australia), UCLA ( USA) andthe National Institue for Matrials Science , Tsukuba (Japan).

Project goal

Because of the inherent complexity of these systems it is difficult to do experimental research and there is a need for computational research which will allow for a better understanding of how silver nanowire networks function an to analyse and test capabilities for memory and learning.

The Scholarship demands 3 years.

Total cost : US $ 176 183.16
