Project Description Region: South America Country: Brazil Location: Ivinhema Ms Total Budget: $31,825 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment is a private philanthropic entity located in a city of 30,000 inhabitants in the interior of the mato Grosso do Sul and lives on the donation of the local community, which are not sufficient for the acquisition of equipment that allows the treatment and more adequate prevention of diseases This entity cares free of 40 elderly people who have no family or have been abandoned by their families In general, the equipment acquired with this Project aims: - a more effective prevention and difficult the proliferation of possible contagious infectious diseases due to make a better hygiene in the washing of the clothes of the inmates as well as the clothes of beds and bath. We also consider that photovoltaic energy installation is extremely necessary for the equipment to function properly without changing much of the cost of electricity and further compromise the weak budget of this entity.
