The project will be dedicated to the acquisition of permanent equipment for the implementation of the Emergency Care Unit (UPA 24h), in the city of Tatuí-SP. Currently our municipality has a population of 130,000 inhabitants, considering the population coverage, we will have a demand of 421,200 annual visits. When analyzing the current physical structure of the Municipal Emergency Room, it is impossible to expand its physical structure, thus, the implementation of the Emergency Care Unit configures an urgent demand for the health area of the municipality of Tatuí, so the population will have better health care, with fewer lines in hospital emergency rooms, as well as increasing the service capacity of the Unified Health System (SUS). The City of Tatuí, through the Municipal Health Secretariat, understands that by establishing a large emergency care center, there is a greater guarantee for the municipal population to preserve human life.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
