For a wheelchair user or a bedridden, standing up brings immeasurable benefits to the circulatory function, digestive and respiratory, raising the life's quality. And for handicapped people, who have motor deficiency, the body mass suspension, done by the UNWEIGHNING Equipament (described below), searches for the motor rehab, in other words, as long as the patient acquires better capacity to sustain oneself on the running machine, the parcel of body weight supported by the equipament is decreased; increasing, then, the patient's independence. Giving the possibility of training early gait in patients with cerebral palsy, stroke, Parkinson's, medullary trauma and other pathologies.Around 200 users in a year are attended in CAchoerinha APAE(Association of Friends and Parents of the exceptional)in number 370, Mario Tavares Haussen Street, Cachoerinha City, in Rio Grande do Sul state. With this equipament, our expectation is to reach and attend even 200 patients in five years, because the same enables the improvement and accelerate the people's treatment in the whole development from the prevention until the rehabilitation
