NAME OF THE PROJECT:

PLAYGROUND OF INCLUSION AND SENSORIAL INTEGRATION CIRCUIT

Equipment Acquisition, Devices and Rehabilitation toys, Inclusion, Leisure and Accessibility.

AREA OF FOCUS: PREVENTION AND DISEASES TREATMENT.

OBJECTIVE:

To make possible an indoor and outdoor structured (circuit) space with inclusive toys, ludo-pedagogical, technological resources and positioning devices, facilitating and developing motors patterns, providing to the benefited people by the circuit of sensorial and social integration the pleasure of going beyond that space, going to an imaginary world, full of special powers. Thus, becoming a facilitator of cognitive an motor learning, generating pleasurable sensations which will help in their healing rehabilitation, better self teem, social accessibility and an increase of integrative ability of their brain and body.

PROPOSED STRUCTURE OF THE CIRCUIT:

The proposed structure is composed by an outdoor circuit, which will be nominated INCLUSION PLAYGROUND, composed by toys adapted for kids, teenagers and adults wheel chair user, disabled or not, and an internal circuit named CIRCUIT OF SENSORIAL INTEGRATION. It will be done in a covered area to make possible the instalment of the equipment, toys and resources of sensorial integration, rehabilitation and therapeutic treatments.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Children, teenagers and adults, aged between 6 and 72 years old, assisted by the entity helped.

Disabled people as: Syndromes, physical, motors, mental and intellectual, multiple disabilities and typical conducts.

TECHNICAL STAFF RESPONSIBLE FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE PROJECT:

Physiotherapists, teachers, occupational therapists. All the professionals with the necessary qualifications to work with disabled people.

ENTETY OBJECTIVE:

Giving help to disabled people with intellectual and multiple disabilities in the area of health aiming to rehabilitate, relieving the difficulties imposed by the presence of the disability, promoting these people to the global development and consequently social inclusion.

HOW THE PROJECT WILL CONTRIBUTE/IMPROVE THE COMMUNITY:

The importance of the motor, intellectual, cognitive and social of such toys and adapted devices, will answer the needs of such kids, teenagers and adults helped by the entity to be benefited

Playing is being everything, is being all, is going beyond, it is flowing, over flying, singing, screaming and dreaming, helping them to get better, changing their lives, making possible their rehabilitation, socialization, inclusion and giving them well being at the moment they are benefited by the project.

SUSTAINABILITY ASPECTS:

The circuit will be available at APAE of FRANCISCO BELTRAO - PARANA - BRAZIL. Teachers, pedagogues, physiotherapists and therapists will be responsible for the application of the resources to the benefited people. All the physical structure and maintenance of the equipment will be responsibility of the entity.

IMPACT:

How many people will be benefited by the project?

Daily attendance: 316 children, teenagers and adults from 6 months to 72 years old.- they are students with mental, physical, motor, intellectual and multiple disabilities and typical conduct.

HOW WILL THEY BE HELPED?

As they are going to use the devices very often in both the circuits, the benefits will be observed in the changes of neural structures, physical recovering, sensorial and motor, promoting in the patients an increase of the integrative ability of their brain, and the rehabilitation of their body.

INVESTIMENT FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT:

R$ 156.946,44 = US$ 40.765,31 (Rotarian dollar exchange Jul /2019 = US$ 3,85).

THE ROLE THE BENEFICIARY ENTETY:

To provide the internal and external structure; provision of circuits; training the professionals in the use of the resources; disseminated the project; maintenance of the equipments, devises and toys, to provide reports informing the proven benefits after the use of the available resources.
