The Ulbra / Mãe de Deus University Hospital is the only maternity hospital in the city of Canoas, serves the entire metropolitan region of Porto Alegre and is a state reference for pregnant women and high-risk newborns. There are 300 deliveries / month. It has 20 type III UTINEONATAL beds, 10 intermediate care beds and 10 kangaroo unit beds. Thus, the need for breast milk for the survival, with quality of life, of premature infants and especially for neonatal ICU babies, justifies the implantation in the city of Canoas - Brazil.

Project Status
Dropped
This project has been "Dropped". Check the history log entries to see why it was dropped.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
