RC Ivinhema District 4470 is making a project to attend the APAE, a non-profit organization that serves children and adolescents with physical and / or motor disabilities.
Children and adolescents with motor and sensory disabilities from zero to eighteen years attended by APAE need specialized treatment to resolve or mitigate their health deficiencies.
Most patients come from poor families, and therefore the treatments are free.
The APAE is a private philanthropic entity and lives on the donation of the local community, which are not sufficient for the acquisition of equipment that allow the most modern and efficient development to treat these students with the most varied physical disabilities.
These materials and equipment are key to improving motor skills and social inclusion.
The lack of adequate equipment makes it difficult and worsens the quality of life of the people assisted free of charge by the APAE.
In general, the equipment acquired with this Project aims at: - postural, kinesthetic and sensorial treatment in children who do not support the trunk itself.
Pediasuit (Terno Pedia): postural, kinesthetic and sensorial treatment in children who do not support the trunk itself;
We also consider that the installation of photovoltaic energy is extremely necessary to make the swimming pool lift work properly without costing much of the cost of electricity, and further jeopardize the poor APAE budget.
Total project value ($ 30,000).
