Project Description Region: Africa Country: Kenya Location: Nairobi Total Budget: $30,500 Area of Focus: Community economic development Kibera informal settlement requires a clear and well done needs assessment to identify best fit with Rotary Global Grant Focus areas. Well considering the new green and environmental focus are that becomes available from July 2021 Update @ Nov. 5, 2020: Nairobi-East will conduct a community needs assessment to identify a worthwhile project aiding residents in the Kibera slum, focusing on sustainability and being able to track the project's success after implementation. Upon completion of this assessment, Escondido Sunrise will work with TRF staff to prepare a GG request meeting the Foundation's requirements. Our intent is to submit the formal GG to TRF as soon as D-5340 advises us that DDF will be allocated to this project.
