Project Overview

In general needy community are composed by a big population with small infrastructure of stores and services in general. The workers for this communities work far from their houses, and they buy almost everything they need outside the place where they live. Because this situation the local economic development is very poor. The lack of investment in business in these community is basic caused because most of this population don't have money to invest, and they don't have access to credit in regular banks.

The objective of this project is to loan money for qualified persons of these community for starting a small busines, or improve existent business to attend the local population. The microcredit will be done on basis of methodology developed by the Bank of Greemen in India, where they have proved the poor people are good payers. To avoid debits we are going to create an ecosystem for this project to warranty the loan will create a economic growing for the community.

The project will be an Ecosystem composed by some entities who will work in a collaborative system , to warranty the business development, they are:

1- Fundo Social de Solidariedade:

It is a department of city government responsible for all poor community. This institution has all details about them like: number of persons, number of children, income, criminality and other demographic data. Besides the data control , Fundo Social offers to the city population, free of charge , professionalizing courses, the objective of them are to improve the professional qualification for the citizens, mainly for needy communities. The Fundo offers courses like the following list:

Crafts

Laying of floors and tiles

Administrative Assistant

Hairdresser assistant

Barber,

Confectioner

Cutting and Sewing

Elderly caregiver

Confectioner

Electrician

Plumber

Computing

Gardening

Bakery

During 2019 Fundo Social trained 10.898 citizens of Jundiaí

2- Banco do Povo e Crédito Social -BPCS

This is the financial institution specialized in microcredit loan for poor persons. This institution has more than 25 years old experience in microcredit loan. Now adays it has more than US$ 2.000.000,00 in credit. The methodology of BPCS for credit approval is based on Bank Greemen. They evaluate the loan candidates through specific data collection about the situation, family, evaluation tests, and local visit to verify the real situation. After this is created a credit score for each individual and determine the loan warranties .

3- Sebrae

This is governmental institution for small business support and consulting. This institution will be responsible for financial and business administration training for the candidates of the loan. Sebrae is going to give continuous consultant during the loan period of payment.

4- Rotary Club

It will responsible for management of this project, The Rotarians will help to selection the loan candidates, to visit them , to evaluate the real needs and accomplish the business evolution. The Rotarians will be the connection between the other entities above.

The project will be developed in the following phases

- We are going to select candidates for loan, who did any course in Fundo Social with a good result

- The candidate will be have the Sebrae help to create a business plan with investments and cash flow.

- The Banco Social will approve the microcredit loan in according with the candidates needs and condition for payment.

- The Rotarians are going to visit the candidates to verify their real condition

- The candidates will do the Sebrae's course for financial and busines administration.

- All entities go along to verify the business development .

Microcredit Loan

The microcredit loan will be conceded in according with the creditor needs s well his perceived payment capacity. The Banco Social has special methodology for doing the payments for the loan.

The credit should be done in two or three payments.
