Objective of Project:
Objective of the project is to enhance delivery of medical services at the Military Clinic of Division 6 Headquarters, Bori Camp, Port Harcourt while promoting maternal and child health.
Intended Beneficiaries:
Military Clinic of Division 6 Headquarters, Bori Camp, Port Harcourt wives and babies of soldiers in the barracks and the general public served by the hospital.
Additional Info:
A community assessment carried out by The President and Community Services Director of Rotary Club of Pot Harcourt established that the Military Hospital in Division 6 Headquarters (Bori Camp) serving a population of over 10,000 including women and children, lacks needed equipment in the theatre, Accident & Emergency Services, Out-Patient Services and Obsetrics & Gynaecology. Further review narrowed the scope of support to the provision of 1 nos Anaesthesia Gas machine and 2 nos of BISTOS BT-500 infant incubator to enhance safe delivery by Soldier's wives whose husband are mostly in the line of fire protecting the nation.
