Lack of skills training and empowerment opportunities among these widows is a common issue. Often due to social norms and financial crisis, they are unable to undertake vocational and skill training. Poor widows sometime depends on traditional works like housekeeping, collecting fodder and fuel wood, arms begging, causal labor but it produce poor earning which is not sufficient to take good care of the family members. This programme aims at directly involve in vocational and skill development and will be targeting the extremely poor widows in the community.
