Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Mumbai Total Budget: $140,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment The need identified are providing the hospital equipment for anesthesiology & critical care. 1.Improve the capacity of doctors by providing them haemodynamic monitoring equipment and ultrasound equipment. 2. Enhance the hospital infrastructure by equipping the operation theatres with monitors and anesthesia gas modules, as patients undergoing surgeries require continuous monitoring of their vitals, which can be done by use of the haemodynamic monitors and anesthesia gas modules, and use of ultrasound equipment is extremely important for critical care and will be installed in Surgical ICU as well as main operation theatre. The project will be implemented in 3 months. The project funds will be used for procurement of equipment. Host Rotarians will assist in ordering the equipment. They will manage grant funds. Monitor the implementation and successful running of the project. Report progress to international partner, The Rotary Foundation and District.
