Housing is a basic need of human being. We Rotary district 3231 along with the help of Government of Tamilnadu, India joined together to build Low cost shelter for the (narikurava)tribes. There are near 32 families of tribe were struggling without a proper house in and around Arcot, our Rotary clubs RC of Arcot and RC of Gudiyatham has identified their needs and economic draw backs.

As per the RI low cost shelter norms and guidelines our global grant project provides them with Basic Shelter, Toilet facilities, electricity and water resources with proper hygiene training to the people in their tribe.

Our shelter project includes basic sanitation facility, Electricity, and training for the tribe peoples. As requested from RI we have collected family details and procured all the necessary details such as land documents, survey reports and water source. This project gives a major impact to the peoples towards their needs
