Project Description

Region: South America

Country: Brazil

Location: Colorado

Total Budget: $43,758

Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment

- In the hospital and maternity hospital santa clara, which is the only hospital that serves the

entire population of more than 10 cities in the region, with an estimated population of more

than 90,000 (ninety thousand) people, to assist patients from all over this region who need

hemodialysis service, providing a quality service, so that these people, often fragile, do not have

to go to the nearest medical center, which is approximately 90 km from the Santa Clara hospital

and maternity hospital, in Colorado-Pr.

-This hospital is being expanded to serve several specialties, with a specific ward for

hemodialysis, and in this sense it needs the equipment needed for such procedures at this

moment.

-In this sense, this equipment will give a new meaning to the treatment, avoiding the

displacement of these patients for hours in vehicles often overcrowded and having to stay for

hours waiting for the service and the transfer back.

Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions.
