GG2123386 - Lacking accessibility and adequate conditions to treat people with some type of physical or mental disability, Campos Belos does not guarantee this part of his community adequate treatment. Riding therapy is a therapeutic and educational method that uses the horse in an interdisciplinary approach in the areas of health, education and riding, seeking the biopsychosocial development of people with disabilities. The horse produces a three-dimensional movement generating benefits for the practitioner. From the point of view of education, hippotherapy helps in the process of inclusion of the practitioner, working interdisciplinarily with the student inserted in the regular network. Monitoring the family and the school is essential for the development of people with disabilities, and the improvements provided to it result from the interaction between family, school and riding therapy. Thus, this project aims to bring a better quality of life and dignity to people with specific needs in the city of Campos Belos. The hippotherapy will be installed at the Escola-Fazenda of the Federal Goiano Institute - Campus Campos Belos, CNPJ nº: 10.651.417 / 0012-20. The total cost of the project is US $ 63,787. Of this amount, US $ 9,589 should be contributed by international partners. District 4530 will contribute US $ 7,500.00 of DDF. The Rotary Club of Campos Belos - Nova Geração will contribute US $ 2,000 to the project.
This project needs to receive some pledges to go to the next level. Please check the "Financing" tab to see the list of current pledges. Once the amount pledged is equal to the project budget, the status of the project will be automatically changed to "Fully Pledged". Click here to pledge support for this project.
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
