Project Description Region: South-East Asia Country: India Location: Moradabad Total Budget: $198,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment Rotary Club Moradabad Brass City Stars proposes to envisage setting up of Oxygen Generating plant at Cosmos Hospital, Kanth Road, Mora Village, a semi - rural area of Moradabad . The recent Covid crisis and shortage of Oxygen in the country has taught some important lessons. One of the important lesson is each hospital should have its own Oxygen generating plant. Once the plant of sufficient capacity is setup, we will have oxygen, not only sufficient for this facility, but can also cater to the needs of the nearby other hospitals. This proposed plant is sufficient for 100 oxygen supported beds and for 20 ventilators.. Since we are anticipating 3rd wave and 4th wave, we need to be prepared well in the time. The joint committee of Club members and hospital team will look after the maintenance and service providing to the society. The estimated ost of this plant is USD 198000, club can contribute USD 20000 for this project...
