2nd Wave of Pandemic Corona Virus-Covid-19 spreading like a wild fire in India including Rotary District 3011. D 3011 consists of Delhi NCR and parts of Haryana State, which are one of the top Corona Virus city/ies in the India. Delhi NCR has already recorded more than 36,000 Corona cases per day. And it is a huge number with thousands death. Rotarian commitment to Service Above Self are needed across the entire globe right now more so in a country with a population of 1.3 Billion people. The health officials are extremely overburdened and working 24X7. Public Transports including Ambulances are over occupied. Though there are many challenges and requirements by the health system of Government, however, Rotary Club of Delhi South West as host would like to support for the transportation of the Covid patients from home-Hospital-Home and to quarantine Centers. Ambulance plays an important role through transporting to the hospital or Covid care centers and thus helping to save the life of the Covid patient.
Rotary would support this emergency requirement. It is a 24X7 requirements. This will come as handy. The Ambulance needs to be fitted with an Oxygen Cylinder and other equipments etc. A total of 13 Ambulance will be launched alongwith 11 Club of our District 3011.
Additional Contribution (not matched by The Rotary Foundation)
$15,000
Total
$170,000
Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
