1. The absence of parents, the lack of opportunities in their family and social environment prevent them from strengthening principles, values and life skills that do not allow a clear visualization of a life project.

2. Confusion in the identification of their gender, gender-based violence and lack of gender equity.

3. School dropout due to poverty and lack of access to higher education.

BENEFICIARIES

This project will be developed in 14 official educational institutions (public schools), formalizing the project through a Certificate of Commitment with the Ministry of Education or Educational Institution in order to guarantee the development of the project with the groups selected by their directors, in each school. A group of 30 adolescents will be chosen, thus directly impacting 420 adolescents.

The indirect beneficiaries are: The family group of each adolescent (at least 2 people), i.e. 60 people for the 14 schools, for a total of 840 people.

The program includes 4 phases where theoretical and practical workshops are developed that we call "sessions", each session lasts 2 hours and is carried out with 30 adolescents per institution. Thus, the total number of sessions in the 14 schools adds up to 252 for 420 adolescents.

SUSTAINABILITY:

Development of economic potential and entrepreneurship through theoretical-practical workshops for community members, through leadership training with tools for the empowerment of adolescents. It is a sustainable project because, in addition to being a measurable initiative that seeks continuity over time and that equality and empowerment of adolescents is goal #5 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. (United Nations), allows it to be an essential element of all dimensions of inclusive and sustainable development of all communities, therefore, activities of involvement, training, written agreements and commitment will be carried out with the communities or actors involved such as the Duitama Chamber of Commerce and with the target population (adolescents, mothers, fathers or caregivers) to carry out a transfer of knowledge and maintain the initiative once the objectives have been exhausted. Grant funds through the search for and use of local resources and the financing of public and private organizations at the international, national, departmental and local levels that are related to the empowerment of adolescents or the social development of communities.

After receiving these tools, it is expected that at least 3 adolescents (10%) from each school will replicate this knowledge to their families and communities to strengthen the project.
