In partnership with The Indian Association of Uganda, Healthy Heart Foundation (HHF), Uganda Heart Institute, (UHI) and St. Francis Hospital, Nsambya, the project will identify 200 children from vulnerable families with congenital anomalies that require cardiac surgery who will have been on the waiting list for more than 12 months because of luck of funds or Capacity by UHI to perform the needed surgical procedure.
These children will then be linked to our partners in India through Rotary India District D3232 and Rotary Club of Chennai Thiruvanmiyur and their partnering hospitals who will undertake the surgeries needed by these children through the grant within a period of three years.

Note: as of July 1, 2015 there is a 5% additional support fee for cash contributions. This fee does not appear in the financials above because it does not apply if the funds are sent directly to the project account (without going through TRF, and therefore without Paul Harris credit). Clubs sending their cash contribution to TRF must be aware they will have to send an additional 5%.
