Improve the health situation among the inhabitants of the Santa Rosa de Cabal Community, reducing the rate of gastro-intestinal diseases.
To continue contributing to the improvement of the quality of water for human consumption and to generate the radical reduction of gastrointestinal and diarrheal diseases associated with water in the rural area of the municipality of Santa Rosa de Cabal, as was achieved
in the two previous phases of the project. To meet these needs, the supply, installation and implementation of filter tanks with Biosand is intended, whose efficiency has already been widely proven in the departments of Tolima, La Guajira, Monteria, even in the municipality
of Santa Rosa de Cabal where to date 700 filters have been delivered, contributing to the solution of the needs raised in various areas of the municipality.
This project will benefit 400 families with an estimated number of 1300 people (including people from early childhood to the elderly), who live in the rural area of the municipality of Santa Rosa de Cabal.
