Project Description Region: Asia Country: India Location: Kalol Total Budget: $44,000 Area of Focus: Disease prevention and treatment At present a hospital is run by Rotary Club Kalol Charitable Trust. Patients from nearby villages visit this place for treatment. Most of the patients come from poor background and they can not afford costly medical services. Following medical equipments with focus on treating accident / trauma victims are proposed to be procured under this Global Grant. - Ventilator for ICU: Proposed Ventilator will help patients in ICU - Operation table with orthopaedic attachment: Proposed operation table with orthopaedic attachment will help accident / trauma patients - Ambulance with lifesaving equipments: Proposed ambulance will help to speedily transport accident / trauma patients from nearby industrial area and state highway to the hospital - Special Lift for Patients: Proposed lift in the building will help in moving patients between different floors of the 4 storied building resulting into optimum utilization of resources (At present lift is operational for 2 floors only resulting into difficulty in patient's movement) Primary Host Partner District: 3055 Rotary Club of: Kalol Primary Contact: Rutvij Shah Email: rutshah@gmail.com Primary International Partner We are looking for a Club partner.
